Sphero BOLT is the latest version of the popular range of spherical robots – and comes with a few nifty new tricks under its durable, polycarbonate plastic cover. Like its predecessors, it is sealed, has an inductive charger and works with the Sphero Edu app. The most notable difference is the eye-catching, programmable 8 x 8 light matrix, which opens up an array of coding and gaming capabilities. In addition, this new-look Sphero also boasts motor encoders, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, infrared, and light sensors, giving it the most sensors of any Sphero.
