The event offers three full days of cool coding, robotics, 3D modelling and game design – and all just for girls.
“The goal of all the GirlsInnov8 initiative is to ensure that girls realise that making with technology can be fun, challenging, rewarding, collaborative and exciting,” said organiser Klaris Philipson, Director of Technologies at St Cuthbert’s College in Auckland.
“The 2016 camp will offer new opportunities for previous attendees to join us again and engage with a range of new technological developments, hardware, concepts and challenges.

“Being a residential camp means that all girls will spend three days and two nights together on the St Cuthbert’s College campus, evenings offering the chance to talk with other students about the day’s learning and share technology passions.
“On Thursday evening attendees will spend time with and hear from a number of trail-blazing women in the IT industry, who will share their experiences and pathways to success.
