Netsafe launches Cyberbullying Prevention Toolkit

The Cyberbullying Prevention Toolkit is now available to support schools in creating safer, more respectful online spaces for young people.

Designed for Years 5-13, it offers teachers practical, ready-to-use resources to help students recognise, prevent, and respond to cyberbullying with confidence.

“All activities are interactive and curriculum-linked,” said Netsafe. “Each session focuses on building understanding, empathy, and real-world strategies students can use when things go wrong online. Teachers don’t need to be experts, the toolkit includes step-by-step lesson plans, slides, and student reflection tools that make it easier to start meaningful conversations in the classroom.

“Together, the resources help schools move from awareness to action, strengthening wellbeing and digital citizenship across the whole school community.”
