Minecraft competition well under way

Thanks to everyone who’s been in touch about the Student Minecraft competition. There’s certainly plenty of interest and we can’t wait to see what you can create.

Once again we’ve teamed up with the Marine Stewardship Council, but this year the challenge is to create a biodiverse and sustainable marine habitat.

We’re challenging students to create and manage a marine habitat – either a natural or artificial environment – in Aotearoa New Zealand. Come up with the design within our guidelines below, construct it in Minecraft, record a short, 3-minute video tour, and submit your entry.

There are three age categories: Primary (0-6); Intermediate (6-7) and Secondary (9+). Entries close at the end of Term 3.
