(Last Updated On: September 24, 2015)

TSH2479-Interface-Web-Banner-265x400-v3Rainforest reconstructor? Organic fashion designer? Solar plane racer? What would be your future dream job? That’s the challenge Toshiba’s laying down to your students – and offering a fabulous prize as reward.

“A good job is central to enjoy a happy, productive and satisfying life,” said Tohsiba’s Andrew Glenn. “Yet many of the jobs that will be available in 20 years do not exist today. So, we thought it would be interesting to challenge students to dream up their future dream jobs. Toshiba hopes this simple contest will spark students’ imaginations, and help teachers connect the STEM subjects with exciting career pathways and possibilities.”

The grand prize includes:

  • $15,000 Dream Maker Lab for the school.
  • $5,000 dream holiday travel voucher for the student.
  • $1,600 Z20t for the teacher.

Finalists will also receive prizes.

“The Dream Maker Lab includes a 3D printer, a 3D milling machine/router, and three of Toshiba’s Z20t 2-in-1 laptop/tablets,” added Glenn. “This is a fantastic resource for schools, enabling students to explore concepts and produce finished pieces in subjects ranging from art and design to science and technology.”

Entries close on 30 November and winners will be announced on 4 December.
