“The Awards continue to grow in size and standard, and we receive hundreds of entries from a huge number of schools from all over New Zealand,” said Rebecca Power. “They offer several categories to choose from, each rewarding excellence in digital media skills. The awards are run ‘by schools, for schools’ and the team behind them are dedicated educators, supported by phenomenal judges who are all experts in their fields.

“If you’ve not heard of these awards before, it’s not too late to get involved, you can use some digital learning from your class this year and enter it into one of the seven categories. Entries close at the end of Term 3, so get them in as soon as possible!”

There are seven categories – including the INTERFACE-sponsored Documentary – divided into three age groups: Years 1-3, Years 4-6, and Years 7-8. The MADE Awards Ceremony is on Friday 13 November at Mosaic in Mont Maunganui.
