(Last Updated On: May 1, 2015)

HP_Blue_rgbLove teaching? Love technology? HP is offering educators across New Zealand the opportunity to combine both passions through the new HP Education Ambassador programme for teachers. And there’s still time to do it as the entry date has been extended to the end of May.

HP is looking for teachers at primary and secondary level who incorporate technology into everyday classroom education and are eager to share their knowledge to create a network of tech-savvy teachers.

Using the latest HP technologies, HP Education Ambassadors will use their experience to inspire educators around New Zealand to incorporate technology into their classrooms by developing best practice ‘teaching with tech’ case studies.

They will also work with HP to bring the most effective education technology products to New Zealand classrooms to make a real difference to students’ learning.

The HP Education Ambassadors will:

  • Be teachers or senior managers in schools with a current NZ Teachers Council Registration
  • Demonstrate best practice use of technology in the classroom
  • Potentially have an online presence in the education world through blogs and social media channels
  • Be eager to share knowledge and collaborate with other teachers to foster the use of technology in education

Above all, an HP Education Ambassador must be passionate about improving education through technology.

HP will provide access to world leading technology and facilitate forums for these tech-minded teachers to learn and share.

Entry date extended to 30 May …

If this sounds like you, register your interest for the voluntary position by submitting your name, school, contact number and a brief summary of your teaching background and use of technology to nzeducation@hp.com by the 30 May. Any questions about the role can be directed to the same email address.
