Welcome to the entry form for the ‘Best Teaching with ICT – Primary’ (Years 0-8) category in this year’s INTERFACE Awards.

What is ‘Teaching with ICT’?
By this we mean any classroom/school activity that involves the use of some aspect of information and communications technology – computers, internet, websites, software, digital cameras, movie making, audio, digital music, interactive whiteboards, wikis, blogs, online social networking, and so on. Anything you’re doing that involves one or more of these sorts of tools.

Judging criteria for Best Teaching with ICT

Your entry will be judged by the following criteria. There are 100 points available – the weighting for each category is also indicated.

Criteria Judges will assess Points available
Outcomes The effectiveness of the activity and the way it’s used in meeting its goals, and the overall benefits to you and/or your students. 50
Implementation Your ability to effectively and successfully introduce and use the activity. 20
Innovation The creativity and imagination involved in the project 15
Challenges How you overcame obstacles, identified opportunities and benefits, and used your ICT skills. 15
