Entries open for KineticKiwi competition

Challenge your students to explore and showcase their passion for science in the KineticKiwi competition.

The aim is to create an original video (three to five minutes long) that explains a topic in one of the following subjects:

“Submissions will be judged based on creativity, understanding and interest,” said organiser Sylvia Li. “There’s no required level for entry. We want to see what students can create.”

Student judges will select eight finalists, and from these, the professional judges – Stuff’s Head of Visuals Carol Hirschfield, University of Auckland Senior Lecturer in Education Technology Kerry Lee, and MOTAT’s Education Manager Julie Baker – will decide on four category winners and the overall winner.

Entries close 12 January. For more information go to kinetickiwi.co.nz
