Microsoft sees future in 3D
Microsoft is updating its Paint app to include 3D capability. Paint 3D is available in the Windows Store, but the app requires the Windows 10 Creators Update to work, which is only available if you join the Windows Insider Program.
Join the ‘Hour of Code’
Three years ago, the ‘Hour of Code’ was launched. So far, an estimated 10 per cent of all the world’s students have tried it. The 2016 Hour of Code events take place 5-11 December.
“For this year’s Hour of Code, we want to expand participation by the community, and we want more schools to join the movement to grow their computer science programs beyond just one hour,” said Hadi Partovi, founder of Code.org. “We have a whole new set of activities, designed to engage every teacher, at all grade and experience levels.”
