What is a ‘Robotics Project?
By this we mean any lesson, course or activity you organised or took part in that involved the use of robots with your students/class.
WIN Samsung Gear 360 Action Camera
The winner will receive a Samsung Gear 360 Action Camera (RRP $649), PLUS a winner’s certificate and logo, as well as an invitation to be profiled in INTERFACE Magazine.
Your entry for ‘Best Robotics Project’ will be judged by the following criteria. There are 100 points available – the weighting for each category is also indicated.
|Criteria||Judges will assess||Points available|
|Outcomes||The effectiveness of the robotics activity and the way it’s used in meeting its goals, and the overall benefits to you and/or your students.||
|Implementation||Your ability to effectively and successfully plan, introduce, develop, and use the activity.||
|Innovation||The creativity and imagination involved in the use of robotics.||
|Challenges||How you overcame obstacles, identified opportunities and benefits, and used your skills to make the activity a success.||
The top five scoring entries will be names as finalists in this year’s awards. INTERFACE readers will be invited to vote for their favourite finalist. The votes will score 10 points for the most popular, 8 points for the second most popular, and 6, 4 and 2 points for the other three places. These scores will be added to the judges’ scores for the final totals.
The winner will be notified directly and announced in the December issue of INTERFACE Magazine.
