INTERFACE Awards 2016 – ‘Best Digital Resource’.

Welcome to the entry form for the ‘Best Digital Resource’ category in this year’s INTERFACE Awards.

Fill in your details and tell us about your digital resource in the four sections provided. Answers are limited to around 300 words, so keep your explanations concise and to the point. You can include links to supporting information. If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll do our best to help out.

What is a ‘Digital Resource’?

By this we mean any collection of information and/or materials put together or created by a teacher and/or class – such as a blog, wiki, website, or a library of videos, images, sounds. It needs to be in digital form and accessible as a learning resource by the intended audience (from teacher and students, to the school community or anyone).

JUDGING CRITERIA

Your entry for ‘Best Digital Resource’ will be judged by the following criteria. There are 100 points available – the weighting for each category is also indicated.

Outcomes The effectiveness of the resource in meeting its goals, such as providing information, well as the overall benefits to its target audience.

Content The value and relevance of the content.

Maintenance How regularly the resource is updated and how well it is looked after.

The top five scoring entries will be names as finalists in this year’s awards. INTERFACE readers will be invited to vote for their favourite finalist. The votes will score 10 points for the most popular, 8 points for the second most popular, and 6, 4 and 2 points for the other three places. These scores will be added to the judges’ scores for the final totals.

The winner will be notified directly and announced in the December issue of INTERFACE Magazine.
