Meet this year’s finalists – and vote for your winners!

Thanks to everyone who entered this year’s INTERFACE Awards. Here are our finalists – good luck to you all. The standard of the work is extremely high and you’ve all shown how ICT can be used to great effect in teaching. Well done!

We’ve chosen our finalists, now it’s the turn of INTERFACE readers to help us select the winners. Below you can read more about the finalists and their entries. Once you’ve decided on your favourites, vote for your winners. Your choices will be combined with our judges’ scores to determine the final results. PLUS everyone who votes will go into a draw to win one of five $20 App Store or Google Play cards.

Great prizes for the winners

As well as the kudos of winning these prestigious awards, there are some great prizes. The winner of ‘Best Teaching with ICT’ will receive a Pavilion x360 (RRP$899), courtesy of HP. Best Teaching with ICT

This is any classroom/school activity that involves the use of some aspect of information and communications technology (ICT). Select the links below to read more about each finalists’ entry.

Best Digital Resource

This is any collection of information and/or materials put together or created by a teacher and/or class. It needs to be in digital form and accessible as a learning resource by the intended audience (from teacher and students, to the school community or anyone). Best Coding Project 

This is any activity the finalist organised or took part in that involved computer programming with their students/class. Select the links below to read more about each finalists’ entry.

Below you can vote for your two favourites in each category. Your choices will be combined with our judges’ scores to determine the final results.

So that entries are being judged by their peers, voting is open only to educators in New Zealand schools and people who work in the education sector.

Also, everyone who takes part will go into a draw to win one of five gift cards worth $20 for the App Store or Google Play (just let us know your preferred choice at the end!).
