Get ready for our awards

Are you proud of what you’re achieving with technology in your classroom? What about your students? Want to share your success? We’ll soon be inviting entries for the INTERFACE Awards 2015. We’re making a few tweaks this year – and there’s the new ‘Junior INTERFACE Awards’ for your students.

There will be three teacher awards:

  • Best Digital Resource – it could be a blog, Twitter feed, wiki, video library, any digital resource that you have created and use with your teaching.
  • Best Coding Project – how are you using computer programming with your students? Tell us about the what you’re using and the impact it’s having.
  • Best Teaching with ICT – what technology-related project you’ve done in the last year has had the biggest impact (on you and/or your students) and shown the best results. This category covers all use of ICT, so can include your ‘Digital Resources’ and ‘Coding Projects’.

And two ‘Junior’ awards for students:

  • Best Minecraft Creation – it’s back by popular demand. Show us your best Minecraft creations!
  • Best Classroom Activity Using Digital Technology – tell us how you’re using technology in your studies, what you like about it, and how it improves your learning.

Will 2015 be your year? If you’re having success with ICT, then we will definitely want to hear from you! So, start thinking about your entry now. Entries will open in our August issue.
