Books on computer coding

Computer programming is becoming an increasingly popular activity in classrooms. You’ll recall we featured this growing and exciting trend in our July issue. You may already be doing coding with your students or wanting to give it a go in the near future. It can be a complex subject – thankfully help is at hand. We have four coding books up for grabs.

‘Computer Coding For Kids’ is a beginners’ guide to the topic. From understanding the basics to fun projects, it combines colourful graphics with step-by-step instructions for Python and Scratch. ‘Phython Basics’, ‘Python: Next Steps’, and ‘Python: Building Big Apps’, provide a comprehensive introduction to the popular Python language.
